Non-Citizen
Felons
People that enter the US
illegally are characterized by different groups,
based upon the ultimate agenda of each group. Some
examples:
Democrats tend to look at any identifiable group in
terms of a voting bloc. Therefore these people are
identified by Democrats as "undocumented workers".
The Mexican government looks at these people as the
Mexican version of the Peace Corps, helping
out America, doing the jobs Americans won't do"
An American who has lost a job to one
of these people, or has their salary diminished by
people that will work for less than market wages,
calls them "illegal immigrants".
Well, let's examine one typical
person, while ignoring their motivation, just the
way we would assess someone that holds up a 7-11.
First, they have broken a federal law-illegal entry
into the US. So 1) they are felons in the eyes of
the law. Secondly, they are not immigrants, as they
were not invited here, and they are not here
legally. I don't think that aliens has much meaning
either. They seem to be simple felons. In the case
where they seemingly obey all our other laws, they
are really guilty of fraud (lying on employment
forms, etc.), they are guilty of identity theft in
some cases, they are guilty of obtaining fraudulent
identifications, they are guilty of "invasion" of
our country and taking property or other assets
(jobs, etc.) rightfully belonging to US citizens
(read the Constitution on this one), and a litany of
burdening via fraud and other means, our support
services paid for US citizens, for the use of US
citizens. There is more, and I'm not piling on, I'm
just showing that these people are felons,
regardless of their motivations and the perceptions
of various people in the US.
The question is therefore, what do
we do with the situation. If the congress had done
their job (Republican and Democrats, going back
years), we would have enforced the border security
and had guest worker programs for legal temporary
help to supplement the normal levels of legal
immigration, which is NOT an issue in this
discussion beyond the fact that it is the job of the
Dept.'s of Labor and Commerce to advise Congress on
what the legal levels should be to meet our needs.
Notice the power fights in
congress where hispanic congresspersons want
uncontrolled illegals given amnesty and citizenship,
chain migration, etc., and increased legal levels to
grow to increase their political power (note Sen.
Mendenez of NJ as a prime supporter). This is not a
human rights issue. It is an economic issue, and
more importantly, the congress and others are
directly working against the overwhelming view of
American citizens, the people they are supposed to
represent, who want a controlled immigration policy
that is fair, considers human rights, but again most
importantly makes economic sense for American
workers. If central and south america have human
rights problems, help fix them in their own
countries, not ours. |

Home Mortgages |
| When my wife and I were a young
married couple, we applied for a mortgage on an
existing house ($18,000) and were told we needed 20%
down. We looked at a new house ($22,000) and needed
only 10% down. $2200 was easier to accumulate
than $3600, so we bought the new home. The point of
the story was that we had to invest
EQUITY/COLLATERAL into the house in the form of the
down payment, because the lending institutions
(following state and federal banking laws) believed
that unless we had something to lose if adversity
struck, we might just walk away from the house,
leaving them to sell the house to recoup their
money.
So in the late 90's, our elected
idiots decided that they could use other people's
money (the taxpayers) to allow people not qualified
or capable of handling a mortgage to get a house at
no risk to themselves. All the risk was on the
taxpayer, which we are finding out. It was social
engineering pushed by the radical left. They went so
far as to give mortgages of $1,000,000 with no down
payment. This would translate to a monthly payment
of about $6000, yet the borrower theoretically
couldn't come up with a down payment.
The cause of the problem is
simple. Radical left wing Democrats-the Barney
Franks, the Hilary Clintons, Barack Obamas, Chris
Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, and the list goes on. They are
always the cause, because your money burns a hole in
their pockets, and they think they know better than
you, how to spend it. Tax and spend. Cut and run.
Obstruct. That is their mantra. Now they are trying
to find a scapegoat. Everyone except themselves.
Congress is responsible for the mess, and they are
responsible to fix it. Again, read the Constitution.
It is quite clear as to who is responsible. |

Gasoline Prices |
| I sound like a broken record, but
our radical left wing idiots strike again. No new
refineries, no drilling here there or
anywhere-on-shore or off-shore, no nuclear plants,
no shale oil, no ANWR, no this, no that. Oops! We
have a big energy problem. What's the solution? Well
they went on vacation with gasoline at over
$4/gallon. Your representatives have really screwed
the public-again. The radical left has actually
endorsed gasoline taxes to drive the cost to
$5-$7/gallon. Why would they do that? Because they
believe that they must teach the Americans a lesson
to conserve gasoline. They must punish car makers.
They must provide jobs for people in other
countries. They didn't plan
on the Arabs (Obama is 43% Arab blood) raising the
prices, or the speculators screwing around, selling
and reselling futures contracts dozens of times to
drive the cost per barrel through the roof. But
seeing all this, what did Nancy Pelosi do? Go on
vacation of course. While we suffer through the high
prices, she drives for free in a government limo,
and has a private plane to fly her back to San
Francisco to see her family.
The radical left wing of the
Democratic Party at work. The problem is 100% their
fault, and they go on vacation. Have you seen them
lift a finger to do anything? I wouldn't plan on it.
They all make enough, and have stolen enough to not
be effected by high gasoline prices. These prices
won't go away until we are energy independent, and
they obstruct progress towards independence?
Meanwhile, Bubba makes millions working for Arab
causes to steal more money from America. And money
from America means money stolen from you, the
taxpayer. $700 BILLION in oil imports, while we let
our oil sit in the ground owned by America-you own
it. Tell the elected idiots to start working for
you, not the Arabs.
Added later. December 26, 2008-
Gasoline has dropped below $1.40/gallon, so the oil
cartel lowers output to drive prices back up. Nancy
said earlier that having ANWR online would only drop
prices by 10 cents/gallon, and it would take 10
years to get any of it. I guess she and the other
Democrats were LYING again. What has congress done
to help the consumer? NOTHING ! Are they waiting
until it gets back to $4/gallon again before the
think about doing something. Why do these idiots get
re-elected? |

Taxes |
| While we are on the subject of
taxes, watch out for the Obama curve ball. Obama
claims that he will only increase the taxes on
people making over $250,000/year. Bubba said the
same thing, but after the election imposed the
largest tax increase on everyone, in American
history.
The second part of his curve ball
repertoire, is that he claims everyone else will get
a tax cut. Now the curve. When pressed for details,
he says "everyone will pay less taxes than they paid
under BILL CLINTON !!! Well Barack, we are now
paying less than we paid under Bill Clinton-
substantially less. You want to increase capital
gains, the inheritance tax, FICA, and so forth. By'
his words, your taxes can go up, but be below the
levels of Bill Clinton, and he didn't lie. He
certainly would have obfuscated the truth, a LIE,
but according to our radical left friends, it
depends on the meaning of the word is !
God protect us from these
anti-American elitists. They are no better than
burglars that hold up 7-11's. There is no difference
in the morality of what they are doing. Our elected
idiots are common thieves. They pick your pocket
with a smile, or in the case of Mr. Foot-in-Mouth
Biden, a smirk. They have no record of honest or
integrity, and if elected, they will prove their
dishonesty- over and over. |

Take A Breather |
| I hate to be so negative in
describing what the Democrats are doing to our great
country, but I don't know how not to put the blame
where it belongs. Mainstream Democrats haven't a
chance. The radical left wing of the party has
captured their nominations for years, and the
reasonable mainstream Democrats are called upon to
support these crackpots. Recent elections have shown
that the mainstream Democrats have crossed party
lines to vote for Republicans, many times. Nixon,
Reagan, Bush, and Bush2. Where would we be if
the likes of Humphrey, McGovern, Carter, Gore, and
Kerry were elected, and think of the 8 years with
Bubba the Impeached, defiler of our national
treasure, the White House.
This is another time when it is
essential that the crackpots be defeated again. The
Democrats-Reid, Obama, Durbin, Pelosi, etc., are not
people of ideas or integrity, they are
obstructionists whose only purpose is to be in
charge to dispense patronage, and get first crack at
the public trough.
So I will continue to try to tell
the truth about the issues, and hope that mainstream
Democrats will fairly consider my arguments before
falling back to loyalty to their party, captured by
the crackpot left. Check our what I write. Am I
wrong? I don't think so, and if you check the facts
out, you will agree with me. Thank you for your
attention. |

Abortion |
| Abortion is really a simple
subject. The left believes that everyone in the US
should pay taxes to fund free abortions, even though
they don't believe in abortions, and the right
believes that any abortion is murder. The people who
insist that these positions are non-negotiable, will
never change, so we must eliminate them from the
discussion. In a society like the US, we must find
middle grounds that are acceptable to the majority
of the people, to at least solve some of the details
within the overall issue, although we recognize we
will probably never solve the overall issue. This is
not an issue to use as a litmus test for new judges,
because it is not their business to make laws about
abortion. Therefore, let's see what we can agree
with. 1. Take the example,
if someone kills a pregnant woman, they are charged
with killing two people, inferring that life begins
at conception. An inference that is not supported by
all people, but for now let's see where the
inference leads.
2. Late term abortion- This
defines an abortion in the third tri-mester, in
which a potentially viable baby (all signs point to
viability) is purposefully killed by the
delivery process. From #1, we have the inference
that the baby is alive from conception, so that this
process is simple murder, with the mother and the
doctor complicit. Sounds like this process should be
resolved by making it illegal to perform 3rd tri-mester
abortions unless some extraordinary circumstances
exist like saving the mothers life, etc. Obama by
the way supports late term abortions.
3. Botched Abortion Birth- This
condition is when a baby is born alive at any point
in the pregnancy, if the baby is viable. Again,
referring to #1, if the baby is born alive, any
action to deprive it of life by the doctor or the
mother is murder. Once again, Obama sees nothing
wrong with murder of these babies, because it was
the original intent of the mother to murder the
baby.
You could write a book about all
the positions about abortion, and the nuances,
special circumstances, age of mother, and on and on,
but can't we agree on just these two cases of
obvious murder. You can't have #1, but think that #2
and #3 are OK. Think about the hypocrisy of #1 being
a double murder, but #'s 2 and 3 are OK. Something
is wrong with this. |

National
Security |
| The last US President with
courage was Ronald Reagan. We know that Bubba is a
liar and a coward draft-dodger. Bush Sr., at typical
wannabe, used a sledge hammer to throttle a bee, but
resolved little, and left a mess behind him. Bush Jr
did half the job OK, but didn't have the courage to
finish it correctly. He spent too much time
protecting himself from the elected idiot forum, who
would never be satisfied with anything until they
were back in charge. So what is national security
all about. Teddy Roosevelt had it right. Walk
softly, and carry a big stick. Obama wants us to
whisper, and pretend we have a stick. McCain talks
tough, and he knows that the military has to carry
the burden of fixing the mistakes of politicians.
But we overrate the importance of
security and diplomacy. What did being nice guys get
us relative to 9/11 ? Nothing. We have to have a
competent group of specialists that live and breathe
security, and being tougher and meaner than the
opposition. The meek will not inherit the earth.
Patton had it right when he said the purpose of war
is to get the people on the other side to die for
their country, and he would accommodate them.
So the whole argument of
experience in foreign affairs is a lot of bullshit.
What has the UN done for us? Nothing ! What won the
cold war? The Soviets realizing that they couldn't
keep pace with the strength of the US? Of course
there are always other factors in every issue, but
thinking that experience in foreign affairs is
essential for a President is deceiving themselves.
Biden was chairman of the foreign
affairs committee. What did they ever do that was
important, seeing the the Constitution gives the
power in dealings with foreign governments to the
President. The important factors in this area are
honesty, integrity, judgment, and courage. McCain
has plenty, Obama has none. |

Social Security |
| This is an actuarial issue. We
must be adult enough to deal with this directly by
letting the employee contribution side of the
equation be driven by the needs of the program.
There are other issues tied to this. We must limit
benefits to people that are citizens that pay into
the fund. Social Security is not a piggy bank
for politicians. If we need more people paying into
it in the future, lets make our economy support
increased legal immigration. But whatever we do,
stop the smoke and mirrors. However important Social
Security is today, it will be much more important in
the future, due to the destruction of the private
pension system. Government employees still get
generous pensions while businesses with pensions
decrease. Congress has to fix this issue, or
everyone will want to be a government employee.

Medical Costs |
| Medical costs are
out of control because of the meddling of congress
in the marketplace. Think of buying a car. If you
buy a theoretical car that costs you $300/month
forever, regardless of make, model, or options,
where is the incentive to get only what you need,
and to delete those you don't need that would reduce
your payments to $250/month.
This scenario defines
how you get health insurance. If you pay the
required premium, there is no incentive to even
watch what your bills are. If there are charges for
services not performed, or services not needed, the
patient generally ignores those items. Can you
imagine buying a car, not getting the options you
ordered, and being charged for services not done.
You read your bill, you check out what you got, and
so forth. There might be a better example, but the
principle is the same. The patient has no
responsibility or incentive to get value for the
services provided. An example of getting the patient
involved, is the medical savings account. If you
take the theoretical $300/month above, and keep it
in a separate account to draw upon when needed, then
at the end of each year, you get to keep what's
left, you would have an incentive to check your
bills, and not use services you don't need.
The insurance company is only responsible for bills
over a fixed large amount (catastrophic insurance),
which reduces their administrative costs, and the
patient gets to make the savings as opposed to
letting the insurance company pocket the amounts not
spent or applied to other patients. It is more
complex than I have stated, but there is a principle
involved, which is responsibilty for yourself.
Obviously, there are people that can't deal with
this complexity, but again, that is a detail, not
the norm. |

Steroids |
| Since the beginning of
competitions, people have been trying to get an edge over their
competitors. What about Hammerin Hank getting so many of his
home runs in the Atlanta mini-park. Baseballs flew out of the
park. Light hitting players (Davey Johnson) hit 43 home runs in
1973 outhitting Hammerin Hank. What does that tell you about
"records?" There are other instances of competition motivating
participants to improve performance. What about spitballs,
vasoline balls, emery balls, cut balls, shoe polish balls,
oversize gloves, corked bats, strength training, body building
supplements from GNC and others, bad backgrounds for hitting at
ballparks, moving outfield fences to accomodate particular
players (Kiner's gardens), and oh my god steroids and human
growth hormones? Who has decided that certain things you do to
your body are OK (smoking, alcohol, prescription and
non-prescription drugs, etc.) but steroids and human growth
hormones cannot be used.
In 2003, the baseball players union agreed to
allow testing based upon the results remaining anonymous and
there would be no penalties for anyone that tested positive.
This was done to collect data, from which new rules in the
collective bargaining agreement could be negotiated.
Well so much for anonymous. Somebody without
authority to do so, violated the agreement, turning the baseball
world into a circus where everyone can have an opinion without
any real knowledge of the entire issue. What is the penalty for
the person that violated the trust and privacy of a thousand
players. Now the questions are- who are the other 103 that
tested positive? How do we know the validity of the tests (false
positives relative to the accuracy of testing in 2003). What is
the validity of those that passed the tests? There are better
tests available today, so why not retest the samples? And for
what purpose? We have to keep the gamblers informed, so they can
be sure their illegal bets are based on players privacy. By the
way, why is gambling on these or any games illegal? It's done
all the time, and it's legal if you do it in Las Vegas and
Atlantic City and other places. Who gave congress the authority
to legislate legal and illegal gambling? The Constitution
certainly did not give them that authority.
The whole concept of who votes for the Hall of Fame is
under fire. What happens to the voters when the newspapers and
magazines become lesser factors in our society. What separates a
journalist from a blogger? A journalist is employed by a
newspaper? Haven't we learned enough from recent events that
there is no unbiased journalism left in the US, so why are we
letting these biased social arbitrates decide anything.
Who judges these voters? Are they substance abusers? Do they
drink and smoke? What are their qualifications to determine who
gets in and who doesn't if you don't stick to the basics of
outstanding performance relative to their peers and not personal
bias relative to issues that are private. Why are players guilty
by accusation, and we accept testimony by people that profited
by their association with and their betrayal of confidences and
trusts. What makes their words truthful? Is it the prurient
interests of the listeners? This certainly separates
people relative to era's. What about the records made by players
that played during World War 2, versus the records not achieved
by those that served in the military?
Before everyone runs out and buys a rope, why don't we
re-examine all of the "tainted" issues including the "tainted"
people that vote for the HOF. The HOF is a museum. If you leave
out people because you think that you can judge a persons
performance over their career and determine what they ingested
into their body. What about records like Roger Maris's 61 home
runs. He did it once. Does that mean he was on some unknown
regimen that was unfair to others, so this record then was
tainted. Babe Ruth had home runs that were ground rule doubles
relative to today's rules. Baseball played 162 games when Maris
had his great year, Ruth had a 154 game schedule.
I think that it is time to get all this crap
out of the public gossip arena. Let's reset the clock with a set
of rules, and forget the witch hunts to have something to do.
