TAMPA, Florida  —  Eighteen and pregnant, Sycloria Williams went to an abortion clinic outside Miami and paid $1,200 for Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique to terminate her 23-week pregnancy.

What Williams and the Health Department say happened next has shocked people on both sides of the abortion debate: One of the clinic's owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant's umbilical cord. Williams says the woman placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

The state Board of Medicine is to hear Renelique's case in Tampa on Friday and determine whether to strip his license. The state attorney's homicide division is investigating, though no charges have been filed. Terry Chavez, a spokeswoman with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office, said this week that prosecutors were nearing a decision.

The case has riled the anti-abortion community, which contends the clinic's actions constitute murder.

"The baby was just treated as a piece of garbage," said Tom Brejcha, president of The Thomas More Society, a law firm that is also representing Williams. "People all over the country are just aghast."

Attention Roman Catholics

When does life begin?  Obama says "it's above my pay grade". Nothing should be above the Presidents pay grade! What does he do in a crisis? Vote Present?

This issue is not about Roe v. Wade. It is about INFANTICIDE  of full term, viable and/or living babies. Address this question. If someone murders a pregnant woman, they are charged with two murders. How can you then say it is not murder, when the death of a viable baby is caused by the physician performing a late term abortion, and how is it not murder if a baby born of a botched abortion is murdered by  withholding medical care after it is born.

Isn't the physician bound by the Hippocratic Oath?  Watch the videos and make your own decisions. Is not the sanctity of life something that separates human beings from animals? It's not above my pay-grade to know that if murder of a pregnant woman is two murders, then by definition, late term abortion or botched abortion birth that result in the death of the child, are MURDER!

Why can't politicians figure this out ?
