Information about ANWAR

Environmental activists, lobbyists and their politicians fairly scream that we should not drill in the Artic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) because it would disturb the wildlife living there. They've been saying this for years. And they continue to say it today in the face of the current energy crisis that everyone painfully knows about. But, what is the truth?

Take a few minutes and review the below statements, maps, and photos and you'll be enlightened. A bit of difference between the impression that the Democrats want American citizens to have. When we get to the end of these photos, you will see why the Democrats really don't want America to be energy independent.

These satellite images show the proximity to the Prudhoe Bay installation. There is only about 70 miles
between these installations, thereby requiring just a relatively short pipeline for ANWR to be joined to the Alaskan pipeline.

Some anti-ANWR activists are the same people that said the Alaskan pipeline/Prudhoe Bay would kill off all the caribou. Obviously, the caribou didn't get the message.

It seems even the arctic bears aren't overly concerned about a nice warm pipeline.

So the biq question remains. Why are the Democrats against ANWR? According to Al Gore's writings and speeches, America needs $5.00/gallon gasoline to get us to stop using oil. The Democrat plan has always been to tax our way to $5.00/gallon. Can you imagine the "windfall" just waiting there for the tax and spend Democrats? But their plan went wrong, and we have the higher gasoline price, but they are getting nothing but enraged citizens against them, because THE DEMOCRATS blocked the development of our natural resources of oil, gas, etc., they blocked nuclear plants, off-shore drilling, shale oil development, etc., which has led to these high prices. Let's not mince words. The cause of the outrageous gasoline prices is largely due to the political aims of the congressional left wing Democrats and their left wing supporters.

What is the Democrats solution to the crisis? According to their nominee for president, TAX the oil companies for their excess profits to subsidize illegal aliens that need help getting to work. Great idea from the empty suits. Take away their ability to develop the resources we need to provide for our energy needs. Sounds like Jimmy Carter and 20% inflation in our future with their convoluted thinking.

If you care one wit for America, your children, your grand-children, and the legacy you leave to them, take a deep breath, observe what congress is doing about this crisis, and then cast your vote AGAINST the real profiteers stealing from America- those that have obstructed the development of energy sources in the USA, that are necessary for our growth as a society. Of course we have to consider all the maybe's related to energy- global warming, running out of oil, etc, But we face a real choice between doing all this while maintaining and improving our standard of living, or burying our heads in the sand, and destroying our standard of living with $5.00/gallon gasoline, and who knows what for heating oil, and all related products from oil.

You can solve this problem in November, by ridding the congress of the left wing of the Democratic party, replacing them with persons that understand reality, and their responsibility to America.
