Guess Who I Am

From one of our email contributors, don't jump to conclusions, or do jump to conclusions. We cannot verify every statement, but that's the way it is on the Internet.

If all the statements are true, then it is pretty easy to narrow down the possibilities.

He was born in one country, raised in another. His father was born in another country. He was not his only child. He fathered several children with numerous women.

He became very close to his mother, as his father showed no interest in him. His  mother died at an early age from cancer.

Later in life, questions arose over his real name.

His  birth records were sketchy and no one was able to produce a legitimate, reliable birth certificate.

He grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my country, but

He  practiced non-traditional beliefs & didn't follow Christianity, except in the public eye under scrutiny.

He  worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult, disguising himself as someone who really cared about them.

That was before he  decided it was time to get serious about his life and  embarked on a new career.

He  wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read his  memoirs that he had difficulties accepting that his father abandoned him as a child.

He became active in local politics in his 30's then with help behind the scenes, he literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in his 40s. They said he had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything. That reinforced his ego and conceit.

He  had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization. Yet he was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to him as though he were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks.

He  drew incredibly large crowds during his  public appearances. This bolstered his ego.

At first, his political campaign focused on his country\'s foreign policy. He  was very critical of his country in the last war and seized every opportunity to bash his country.

But what launched his rise to national prominence were his views on the country's economy. He pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do better and every poor person would be fed & housed for free.

He  knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. It was the free market, banks & corporations. He decided to start making citizens hate them and if they were envious of others who did well, the plan was clinched tight.

He called his campaign  "A People's Campaign" and that sounded good to all people.

He was the surprise candidate because he emerged from outside the traditional path of politics & was able to gain widespread popular support.

He knew that, if he merely offered the people 'hope' , together we could change our country and the world.

So, we started to make  speeches sound like they were on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to include "persecuted minorities" like the Jews. His  true views were not widely known & he needed to keep them unknown, until after he  became his nation's leader.

He had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily found out what he  really believed, if they had simply read his writings and examined those people he associated with.

He's  glad they didn't. Then he  became the most powerful man in the world. And the world learned the truth.

Who is he?
