| Eric Grohe is world famous for his wonderfully realistic murals
commissioned by cities, states, corporations, companies, and private
concerns. His large public mural projects are painted on site and
typically take several months to complete, giving the local
community a unique opportunity to witness the day-to-day creation of
a work of art. He has won many, many awards, and is often a featured
speaker at professional and social events. Grohe was born in NYC in 1944, and began his professional career in the 60s as a graphic designer and illustrator. His current career took off in the early 70s with more and more commissions being offered for his talented efforts. He has received national recognition for his work, which for many years has been focused almost exclusively on painting figurative and architectural murals for clients throughout the country. |
