18 April 1942

Approximately 4 months after the attack on Pearl Harbor, a group of American planes and fliers
bombed Japan, sending a message that they had awakened the sleeping tiger. Shown below
is a photo record of the fliers and their mission. With deference to those Americans that would have
opposed the Doolittle Raid, this was not a "measured response". It was phase 1 of the
Japanese's worst nightmare. In the same way as todays  terrorists, the only message they
understand is force and more force. So support your troops. They are the reason why you can
go about your daily business with relative peace. Politicians never learn as they spend their
time lining their pockets, so the average American must do the learning.

Learn from the atrocities of WW2, Look at Be Brave - learn and remember. The politicians will not
save you from terrorists. When politicians say they stand behind the American people, take it
literally. They are never in front of you, between you and the enemies of freedom. Your armed forces
are the men and women that defend you and your freedom.
